Register by Jan 12th for Spring 2025 teams
The earlier you register, the faster we can build and confirm teams!
- Players registered by Jan 1st will receive a $25 discount (applied at checkout)
- Players who refer a NEW friend to join ALC will receive a $50 refund following new player's registration
- Club Refund Policy: Before Mar 15th of current season, a 50% refund of registration fees will be issued. After Mar 15th of current season no refunds available.
Players registered after Jan 12th will be put on ALC's waitlist and added to team rosters, as feasible. If teams are full or ALC does not have a team set-up within a player's specific age group, players can potentially play up on the next age group team.
Program Description
The Alameda Lacrosse spring season will consist of regularly scheduled practices and local games. All practices are designed to further develop the skills of our players as well as provide an entry-level introduction to lacrosse for all new players.
Alameda Lacrosse requires 100% USA Lacrosse participation. Every player and coach must have a current membership valid through the end of May 2025. (Youth and High School Players $35)

Practices/Schedule
- Practices start late January / early February (varies per team) and continue through the end of May
- Each team will practice 1-2x's per week (varies per team)
- Game and practice schedules will be posted in Sports Engine once finalized in January
- Approx. 8-12 in season games (varies per team)
- Post Season Tournament is mid-May
- HOME FIELDS: Estuary Park, Harrington Park and other ARPD fields
Player Fees
Fees for 2025: Registration fees cover field use, league referees, coach stipends (when applicable) equipment costs, volunteer background checks, marketing & recruiting, insurance and more. If you have questions about our fees, please contact Alameda Lacrosse at alamedalax@gmail.com.

- Volunteers!! ALC is 99% run by committed volunteers. This year we are eliminating our Volunteer Buyout (for families who do not have time to volunteer) previously set at $275/family, similar to other Bay Area Clubs. Instead, we ask and encourage parents to step-up and volunteer in the best way they know how (do what you are good at :) to help us grow and strengthen Alameda Lacrosse -- which will also help us move lacrosse into our Alameda high schools! We have many volunteer opportunities available on and off the field - please see later within this registration form & sign-up. Thank you!)
Uniforms
- We will use the same uniforms as last season
- New Players: You may order a new one or request to borrow from our limited inventory
- Returning Players: You may order a new one if you need a new size or a replacement
- We will send more info re: ordering uniforms in a few weeks
Equipment
- All players must have required equipment by 1st practice, late Jan / early Feb
- Girls: Stick, Goggles, Mouthguard, Cleats, (Headgear is optional and recommended for players who wear eyeglasses. Cascade model is recommended)
- Boys: Stick, Helmet, Protective Gear/Pads, Mouthguard with strap, Cleats
- We will send more info re: our NEW Equipment Page in a few weeks
- For 8U, loaner sticks will be provided if you do not already have one
- For 10U, 12U and 14U, Alameda Lacrosse has a limited supply of loaner equipment to borrow. Please email alamedalax@gmail.com if this is of interest.

- We also offer a payment plan. 50% payment due upon registration. Balance due January 12th, 2025.
To Register
- Renew or Purchase your USA Lacrosse Player Membership at www.usalacrosse.com/membership.
- Create or sign-into a Sports Engine Account below (you may use your existing Sports Engine account that was created for other sports)
- Complete the registration
- Download the Sports Engine app. All practices, games and communication will go through this app.
- Monitor your inbox for information regarding borrowing or purchasing uniforms.
